Iphone from Apple is the convergence of an internet-enabled Smartphone and iPod. The initial iPhone was equipped with 2.5G quad band GSM and EDGE; cellular phone with features found in hand held devices powered with scaled down versions of Apple’s Mac OS X with various Mac OS X applications such as
Safari and Mail. It was also loaded with applications such as Google Maps and weather. The original iPhone featured 3.5” inch touch screen display with various memory capacities ranging from 4GB to 16GB.

It also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi facilities. Later versions of Apple iPhone added support for 3G networking and assisted GPS navigation. The newer version also appeared smarter and was visually appealing. With complaints from users of previous versions, the newest version - Apple iPhone 5 changed the headphone jack from a recessed jack to a flush jack so that it can become compatible with various types of headphones and it also came with the latest software capabilities.

The Apple iPhone 5 includes an entirely new design which makes it thinner and lighter with the Apple’s A6 processor with 8MP iSight camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera and Face Time video calling. The new Apple iPhone 5 has an outstanding battery life. This Smartphone is excellent for game lovers because the A6 chip present in it pushes graphics up to seven times faster. This is the reason behind smooth realistic graphics.

The Apple Iphone 5 uses iOS 6, Apple's mobile operating system. The user interface of  the iOS is based on the concept of direct manipulation, using multi-touch gestures. Interface control elements consisting of sliders, switches, and buttons. Interaction with the Operating System includes gestures such as swipe, tap, pinch, and reverse pinch, all of which have specific definitions within the context of the iOS operating system and its multi-touch interface. Also, Internal accelerometers are used by some applications to respond to shaking the device.

The Apple iPhone 5 can act as a hotspot which enables sharing its internet connection over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB and also access the App store. The Apple iPhone 5 can play music, movies, television shows, ebooks, audiobooks and podcasts and it is capable of sorting its media library by songs, artists, albums, videos, playlists, genres, composers, podcasts, audiobooks and compilations.

Just like the iPhone 4S the Apple iPhone 5 has Siri that enables the user to operate the iPhone by spoken commands. Siri is accessed by holding down the home button rather than tapping it. The software was improved in iOS 6 to include the ability to make restaurant reservations, launch apps, dictate Facebook or Twitter updates, retrieve movie reviews and detailed sports statistics. On this phone texting can be aided by the voice assistant, which converts the speech to regular text and you can also upgrade the iOS 6 to iOS 6.1 to experience the latest OS present on the Apple iPhone 5.

  1. iphone price is somewhat that is always a point of interest. iPhone 5 32GB is still expensive, but Samsung and other companies are offering much good in less amount, site like iPhone Family and iPhone Family World are updating users on the price, but in NIGERIA, price is somewhat low as compare to the rest of the world.

  2. if you want to have a hassle free phone, much more better to be with samsung or android phones. iphone's are anti piracy. and they secured every gadgets w/ itunes. w/c is for their business. most apps needs to be paid before you can download them w/c is unfair, because iphone is already expensive so why should their apps have some pricess as well. make no sense. they love money!
