Configuration of DroidVPN with MTN BIS on Android
- Subscribe to BlackBerry Internet Service - Daily, Weekly or Monthly Data Plan
- Register for a DroidVPN FREE account here at DroidVPN
- After completing your registration, Download DroidVPN to your Android Phone
- Open up your Phone Settings and set up a new APN with the following details - Access Point Name (APN) = blackberry.net , Username = web and Password = web (Refer to MTN Internet Configuration Settings for Android SmartPhones for more details if you don't know how to set this up, but if you've already set this up, move to the next step)
- Now, launch DroidVPN and sign in with your registered username and password
- Go to Settings and click on Connection Protocol then change it to UDP. Also click on Set UDP Port and type 500 in the box provided
- Go back and choose 'Free Server 2' from the listed servers.
- Now, click the connect button, wait for a while then you'll be connected to the Internet !!!
