In our previous post, I dropped the Samsung Galaxy unpacked video where the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ were unveiled. If you watched the video to the end, you'll notice what's next from Samsung and interestingly that thing is just around the corner, it's a very nice wearable - a round-faced Smartwatch shown towards the end and it's the Samsung Gear S2.
From the brief preview shown in the Samsung unpacked video, we were able to conclude that the Samsung Gear S2 will surely feature the heart-rate sensor. It will be able to forecast weather & track your favourite Sporting activities and will be very much fitness-oriented and most importantly, the watch can also tell you what the time is. It's also apparently going to have cellular connectivity, judging by the phone and messaging app icons. Then again, the original Gear S supported 2G/3G networks, so there is no doubt that the Gear S2 will also support that or maybe Samsung is going to surprise us with something bigger.
Something I also noticed in the Gear S2 is the look of the icons, the icons look suspiciously familiar, just like another hot smartwatch we all know in the wearable world which I won't like to mention. Well, with the latest information at hand, the Samsung Gear S2 will go official in the IFA in Berlin in less than two weeks (on the 3rd of September to be precise) so the wait won’t be long. It's just a matter of time, we'll soon know what Samsung's got in store for us. Below is an official "coming soon" video of the Gear S2 from Samsung. Cheers!!!
