#BringBackOurGirls - An Online Campaign to Save the Abducted Nigerian Girls

Recently, you might have noticed an Hashtag spreading like wildfire on the Social Media, which is the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. If you don't know about it before, i will like to brief you about it. Not quite long ago in Chibok, Northern Nigeria (April 15, 2014 to be precise), over 200 girls were abducted from their boarding school and are reported to be eventually sold as brides for a small fee.

#Bring Back Our Girls

The abducted 200+ girls are victims of an ongoing conflict within Nigeria that they did not create, and their voices need to be heard. That's why the #BringBackOurGirls campaign was launched. In one of our upcoming posts, we'll talk better about this but before then, you can also join in the campaign by using the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and other Social Networks.

You may keep wondering what effect your participation has to do with returning those abducted girls but you have to be aware of the fact that your participation in the campaign by tweeting and updating your status with the #BringBackOurGirls embedded in your tweet will make the campaign reach everywhere on the globe and the international bodies will be aware, thereby making it possible for the girls to get needed help. Please kindly share this post with everyone in order to save these girls. Our heart goes on for them !!!
