The LG G3 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update is Officially Available Here

Yeah, you read the title right and it's exactly what you saw. What a good news for LG G3 Users ! After rolling the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to all the qualified Nexus Phones and some other phones too in Europe and USA. We never thought the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update would be so quick and fast for the LG G3 but surprisingly, the first Marshmallow update is out for the LG G3 and it's happening in Poland right now, thanks to LG for staying busy behind closed doors to make this happen so soon.

Though the firmware is only available for Poland right now but those that are not in Poland can also choose to install the firmware on their G3 (if they know their way about it) to have a quick taste of what Android 6.0 looks like on the G3 or better still, they should just wait patiently for the official firmware version of their own country.

As it has always occur with firmware updates, when new firmwares are rolled out, they are mostly first available through PC before couple of days or weeks when they are finally rolled out through OTA (Over-The-Air) update. The case here is not different, the Android 6.0 firmware for LG G3 has to be installed via a PC, and we know that an OTA update would be released soon, how soon? We don't know. Both the 16GB and 32GB storage versions of the LG G3 are eligible for this update.

This marshmallow roll out procedure is also similar to that of the LG G4 - first released in Poland, followed by South Korea, and then Europe. So while it may take a while to reach widespread availability, you can be rest assured that Marshmallow is coming to your LG G3, sooner or later.
